Seokjin and Namjoon lead you all to a beautiful house. The entrance looked spectacular and the house was surrounded by a huge pond. There was also a big garden inside. From the looks of it, you were sure that the people who lived here were affluent.
"When we first left the city we didn't know where to go. Namjoon decided it will be better to avoid the centre of the village. So, when we were wandering around hopelessly we just randomly spotted this house. You will be surprised to hear that there was not a single zombie inside. So, we assumed it will be best to stay here and formulate a plan before we commit anything."
Seokjin cleared your doubts. He looked pretty used to the circumstances. The world might end. Yes, he is conscious but he merely chose to pretend that nothing is wrong.
"Then one day when we were surveying the region for essential goods we found three boys unconscious and gravely injured. We brought them here with us and treated them as best as we can. To be honest I didn't speculate they will survive because they didn't wake up for days. But I guess miracles occur. After days they ultimately woke up. Seokjin hyung was truly delighted. He made sure the boys heal rapidly. Thanks to hyung, those three were back on their feet soon enough. They requested that we let them stay with us. Of course, we agree. They looked so young. We couldn't let them dive head-first into danger. But the thing is once you meet them you will immediately realize just how different they are. One of them is really bratty, one of them is too friendly and the other one is too shy. Overall a weird threesome."
Namjoon looked quite fond of them even though he was trying to sound like he doesn't care. Well, you were excited to meet the trio. But you should've known that dealing with them will be harder than you ever imagined. When you stepped into the living room with Seokjin and Namjoon all eyes turned to you and your friends. For a moment no one said anything. But then one of the boys broke the ice.
"Who are they?"
"I'm Kang (Y/N) and they are my friends Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok."
You replied with a straight face. The guy who asked the question only rolled his eyes and answered back.
"Well well well looks like hyung found more people."
His tone was filled with intense sarcasm which irked you to your core. Just who the hell he thinks he is?
"Jimin! Behave yourself, boy. I won't repeat myself. Now, go and introduce yourselves."
Seokjin scolded the pink-haired boy named Jimin.
"...Park Jimin."
"Kim Taehyung!!"
"Jeon Jungkook."
Yup, by then you realized who holds which kind of personality. Yoongi seemed to be amused with Jimin's personality. (You have no idea what's so attractive about rude attitudes). Hoseok was already on talking terms with the blue-haired guy Taehyung. So, that leaves... right, Jungkook. You looked at Jungkook who only smiled shyly in response. Seokjin and Namjoon already left to do heaven knows what. That left you with the only option Jungkook. The thing is you are the exact opposite of him. You don't know what shame means. That's why when you willingly sat down beside Jungkook— which no one usually does. (You just picked that up from his expression). He was stunned. The poor boy couldn't even look you in the eyes. How cute.
"Hey, Jungkook! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
You smiled at him which only baffled him further. His cheeks were dusted pink and the way his big brown doe eyes stared at you was adorable.
"N-nice to me-meet you too!!"
"Are you scared of me?"
"N-no!"
"Then... did I do something wrong?"
You faked a sad tone and a not-so-happy look. He literally panicked.
"No no (Y/N)! Never! You know you are so pretty and you talk so nicely!!"
When he realized what he said he didn't know where to hide his face. Jungkook was so embarrassed which only made you laugh.
"Relax, Jungkook and thank you so much. I appreciate that a lot."
"You do?"
"Yes, of course!!"
"Thanks... (Y/N)!!
He smiled at you. You could have sworn that his smile took your breath away. How can someone smile like that?! Is he even human?
" Oh my God, Jungkook! Your smile is so ethereal! What the hell man?!"
Jungkook blushed furiously at your statement. He couldn't believe you just said that to him.
"Th-thank you (Y/N)... No one said that to me before.
" Well, they might be blind but I'm not. Jungkook, I can say you are a man with a golden personality, flaunting looks and a stunning smile."
"You are complimenting me too much (Y/N)!!"
"How can I not?! I'm serious!!"
You loved his sweet personality. Jungkook may not talk much but you believed that he has a golden personality. He didn't deserve to end up in a twisted world like this. Jungkook deserved better. He has a long way to go and you hoped that you will be able to help him. You wanted to spend more time with him, you wanted to compliment him all day if you can. It wasn't fair how he left such an effect on you even though you met him just minutes ago. It wasn't fair in the slightest that his smile made you forget all of your worries for a second. Will you be able to do the same for him? Maybe one day he will open up to you. You were willing to get to know him more. For now, you will wait. You will wait for him, as much as he wants you to.
